Hobbies and Interests
Kerri is a traditional sign writer and canal artist, offering workshops and talks for all manner of museums, societies, community groups and schools. She will happily visit educational establishments and speak to the art or students, set projects, demonstrate etc.
Hands on workshops available for adults and children.
Canal art is Kerri's passion, although she also enjoys sign writing and traditional fairground art. Kerri was lucky enough to be apprenticed to a wonderful Canal Artist, and learned her skills in the traditional way, through hard work without modern short cuts. Kerri demonstrates at The Black Country Living Museum, Dudley Canal Trust and Preston Brook Wharf. She has painted everything from boats to pubs!
