11 October 2025. As part of Dudley History Festival we welcome David J Cox with his talk titled The Dunsley Murder of 1812. David J. Cox is a Fellow of the Royal Historical Society and Reader in Criminal Justice History at the University of Wolverhampton, specialising in early police history, and the eighteenth and nineteenth century criminal justice system. The Dunsley Murder of 1812 is a study in early nineteenth century crime detection, justice and punishment.
