Seven Weeks of Shibashi: An Introduction to the Gentle Wellness Art of Shibashi Qigong

Keeping Well

3 July-14 August 2026. Seven weeks of Shibashi.

Learn the gentle wellness art of Shibashi Qigong over the course of seven Friday mornings during the Summer Holidays.  You will discover the riches of an 18-movement sequence from China that can rejuvenate body and mind, restoring energy levels.

This short course is aimed at complete beginners or those unfamiliar with Qigong.  It will take place at Halesowen's Ren Shin Kan dojo.  It is ideal for senior/retired individuals, and can be a lovely shared practise for couples and families too. Carers also welcome.

Qigong is a wellness art that can be practised by participants with a wide range of physical fitness levels and abilities. The art has many benefits, including reduced risk of falls, improved mental clarity, and decreased anxiety.  It is well regarded as an exercise for relaxation.

Places are limited. £50.00 fee for the full course (works out at approx. £7.00 per session).
