Diabetes is common in our community — but together, we can take control and live well.

Join us for “Sweet Enough”, a friendly and practical community session hosted by DIYYA alongside local health and care professionals. Whether you’re living with diabetes, at risk, or simply want to support family and friends, this session is open to everyone.

What to Expect

  • Learn the facts about diabetes and how to manage it day-to-day

  • Share experiences with others in a welcoming space

  • Discover small, practical steps that make a big difference to your health

  • Take part in myth-busting, gentle exercise and rethinking your thali – an exploration of healthy and balanced South Asian meals

  • Get your health checked! We’ll be offering free blood pressure checks and other simple lifestyle assessments on the day
