A very warm welcome awaits you at Mellwaters Barn Cottages. We are centrally placed in the North Pennines area of Outstanding Natural Beauty within easy reach of the Lake District, Yorkshire Dales, Durham or York, making it an ideal holiday destination. As owners we believe in making your holiday as relaxed and pleasurable as possible. Our personal experience in dealing with disabilities means that everyone including those who use a wheelchair or less able to walk without help can enjoy a stay at our cottages.
Providing holiday cottages that are accessible for everyone is at the heart of what we do. We ensure that our disabled cottages can be enjoyed by the full family yet are easy to use for all. All of our self catering accommodations have been created differently to suit the various needs of our visitors.
From kitchens that have been adapted for wheelchair users and ceiling hoists in bathrooms to stair lifts and level entry access. We’re ready and happy to meet your needs, whatever they may be.
