To facilitate self-education for people in the third age (i.e. no longer in full-time employment for whatever reason) via speaker talks and a number of interest groups. Speaker talks, Music Appreciation, Chess, Literature, Scrabble, Origami Discussion, Heritage Research, plus History take place at Hasbury Community Church.
Other groups including Photography, Patchwork and Quilting, Crochet, Beading, Art, Walkers, Strollers and Astronomy, Creative Writing, Ukulele and Countryside Studies take place elsewhere.
