Friends of Abbey Street Park work hard to keep the park and play areas tidy and safe for all to use. The park has a large open space area ideally suited for team activities, family picnics, walks and leisure activities. If you want to join the group in their tasks then all you have to do is contact them they will be more than pleased to meet you. There is plenty for all to do.
- Plenty of pathways to enjoy walks.
- Toddlers play area.
- Older children's play area.
- Football pitches on top level of area.
- Nature walk.
- New "Quiet Area" for those who just want to sit and relax.
