At Dudley Zoo and Castle there’s a chance to get closer to the world’s rarest animals.
Visitors can discover the magic of tigers, lions, lemurs and penguins with exciting new experiences at the award winning West Midlands, UK tourist attraction.
Lemur Wood is home to more than 30 of the enigmatic creatures and there’s an opportunity to meet ring tailed and black and white species as they greet visitors to their one acre woodland home.
At DZC you’ll see some of the world’s most endangered animals, many of them face an uncertain future in the wild, but thanks to our successful breeding and conservation schemes these magnificent creatures have survived. Our big cats are very precious. We have two snow leopards and our two Asiatic lions are the pride of Dudley and roam a one acre paddock.
We also hold a daily birds of prey display in the courtyard of the 11th century Dudley castle, in the heart of DZC. Feed the colourful Rainbow lorikeets pots of nectar in lorikeet lookout.
DZC has something to offer all the family. Join our keeper for a day scheme where visitors shadow keepers throughout the day. Try our close encounters where you can feed giraffes, lemurs, big cats and tapirs, too.
