11 October 2025. As part of Dudley History Festival we welcome Kevin Goodman with his talk titled Black Country’s Forgotten hero: Rev William Leigh of Bilston. The Rev. William Leigh was the curate of St. Leonard's Church, Bilston, from 1813-1835 and was a dynamic and controversial figure. Join us as we rediscover his achievements and why he is a true hero of the Black Country.
