Connexions Dudley (Information Advice and Guidance Service for young people)

Support to get a job

Telephone:

01384 811400

The Connexions service is designed to meet the needs of young people aged 13 to 19 and up to 25 years for those with learning difficulties and or disabilities. The aim is to help young people reach their full potential and make a successful transition into adult life. Working in partnership with private and voluntary sector groups and youth services, Connexions brings together all the services that support young people during their teenage years. Young people can access Connexions through Personal Advisers (PA’s) using the Live Chat facility, email and web enquiry form on this site.

Targeted support is available through schools, colleges, outreach locations and voluntary organisations where  free, impartial, professional and confidential advice is available on a range of matters. This includes information on post 16 options, education, training and finding work as well as support around money, health, homelessness and relationships. An important part of the service is the involvement of young people. Listening to and taking account of young peoples views helps in the design and delivery of the service. Connexions Dudley is an accredited Matrix provider of Careers Information, Advice and Guidance. The Matrix Standard is the unique quality framework for the effective delivery of information, advice and/or guidance on learning and work.
