Assistome - Home and Lifestyle Support in Stourbridge
Assistome Ltd provides trusted Home and Lifestyle Support, combining everyday practical help, companionship and scam awareness with safeguarding at the heart of everything we do.
Assistome was established to provide more than practical support. We recognise that making everyday life easier isn't simply about getting tasks done, it's also about feeling supported, safe and confident in the people providing that help.
For some, that means getting valuable time back; for others, it's about maintaining their independence, enjoying companionship or having the reassurance that someone they care about is in trusted hands.
Our founder, Kelly, has professional experience in policing, Trading Standards enforcement and wider local authority work, including supporting and safeguarding people affected by scams, fraud, rogue traders and exploitation. This experience shapes our approach to trust, safety, dignity and treating every customer as an individual.
Our Home and Lifestyle Support services include:
Cleaning, laundry and home organisation: General housekeeping, laundry, ironing, changing bed linen, tidying, decluttering and help with everyday household tasks.
Shopping, errands and everyday assistance: Grocery shopping, collecting prescriptions, running errands, shopping on behalf of customers and accompanying them to appointments, shops and social activities.
Companionship and wellbeing: Friendly visits, conversation, social outings, regular companionship and support with maintaining social connections and everyday routines.
Scam awareness and prevention: Helping customers recognise common scams and rogue-trader approaches, providing practical prevention information and appropriate signposting where concerns arise.
Dog walking and pet care: Individual and group dog walking, subject to suitability, pet feeding and routine pet care.
Flexible, personalised support
Customers can combine different services within a visit rather than arranging separate providers for each task. We offer occasional assistance, regular visits and monthly support plans tailored to individual needs.
We also welcome enquiries about other practical Home & Lifestyle Support requirements that may not be specifically listed.
Who we support
Assistome welcomes adults who would benefit from practical assistance, including older residents, people needing additional everyday support, those experiencing loneliness or isolation, busy professionals and families arranging support for someone they care about.
We also welcome enquiries and referrals from health, social care, hospital discharge and community professionals seeking appropriate practical or companionship support.
Safeguarding and service boundaries
Safeguarding is central to our approach, alongside professional boundaries, confidentiality, dignity and respect for individual choices.
Assistome Ltd is not a CQC-registered care provider and does not provide personal care or nursing services. Certain activities may constitute regulated activity with adults for DBS purposes. Appropriate DBS checks, including Enhanced DBS and Adults' Barred List checks where required, have been undertaken in accordance with staff responsibilities.
Transport is available only as part of our wider support services and cannot be booked independently.
