The Family Information Service (FIS) is a free signposting service managed by Dudley Council providing detailed information, advice and contacts for parents, families and carers across the Dudley borough.

The FIS provides information on:

• Ofsted registered early years and childcare providers

• Information on funded early education childcare for under 2’s, 2, 3 and 4 year olds

• Wraparound care

• Childcare provision for children aged 5 years+

• Things to do and places to go, including details of events and activities taking place for children, young people and families during holidays

• Support for parents and carers of children with additional needs, such as SEN events, short breaks, sensory rooms, and support groups.
