Activity Assistants

  • Help to set up and pack away activity sessions.
  • Welcome everyone that attends the activities to make them feel welcome.
  • Taking a register of everyone that attends the sessions ensuring that we have a completed consent and referral form before parents drop them off.
  • Participating in the sessions where possible.
  • Building relationships with all that attend.
  • Commitment of 1 hour per week - length of time is dependant on you.

Volunteer Mentoring

  • We require a minimum of 6 months commitment for this volunteering option of 1 hour per week.
  • Regular mentoring sessions with a male or female young person aged 9-14 years. This could include going for walks, getting food, bowling, or any other activities the young person would like to do.
  • Completing action plans with the young person to ensure they are getting what they need from the mentoring.
  • Being someone to offer support and advice to the young person about various aspects of their lives.
