Worcestershire Wildlife Trust is the county's leading local charity working to conserve and restore wildlife and wild places. Our vision is: "Worcestershire, part of a UK rich in wildlife, where everyone can appreciate, enjoy and help restore and protect wildlife for the future."
Nine locally based groups of volunteers across the county support the trust in many ways including organising a programme of talks and walks, fundraising events and survey work. The group organises wildlife themed activities for residents in the area. We provide a series of indoor meetings and outdoor activities throughout the year. Everyone is made very welcome at their regular events.

25th September 2026 -Subtracting Grass Snakes and Dividing Adders - the issue of conserving snakes with Paul Wilkinson
23rd October 2026 - Life in the local undergrowth - a talk by Roger Umpelby
27th November 2026 - Japan - a talk by Gerry Griffiths
Walks
26th September - Leasowes and the walled garden
Join Sue and Andy Duffield on a walk around this historic area taking in a short stretch of the disused Lapal canal, the unique landscape of Leasowes park and the beautifully restored walled garden.
Meet at 10a.m. at Leasowes main car park off Mucklow Hill, B62 8DH. Places are limited so please ring 01384 371064 to book. Leave your name and number and we will get back to you. £3.00 per person
2nd October - Penorchard fungus foray
Matt Spencer will lead our walk looking at the many and varied fungi around the reserve. The reserve is hilly and may be muddy with uneven ground in places. There are a couple of stiles and there may be horses in some of the fields.
