Welcome to The Story Sack! Our mission is to inspire a love of reading with the young children in our local area through play.
As an Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) practitioner, Primary School Higher Level Teaching Assistant (HLTA) and proud mum of two beautiful bookworms, children's books are a huge part of my life.
I adore working in schools and share my love of story play beyond the classroom to promote a love of reading and play in our local area. Our sessions are designed to inspire and enable play with your child while harnessing a love of reading together.
Each 1.5 hour session allows you to play at your own pace in whatever way you choose with your little one.

We run monthly story play sessions during half terms, school holidays and weekends at Wordsley Community Centre with a full line up already planned for 2026.
We also run outdoor sessions at Roberts Farm and bespoke sessions for local groups and clubs.
