Volunteers

10 and 17 May 2025. Do you have an interest in fitness and love the outdoors?

You don’t need to be super fit or have previous experience. If you are enthusiastic, a good communicator and are willing to lead sessions, we would love to hear from you in becoming a Park Active volunteer!

Full training is provided and our 2025 dates are Saturday 10th and 17th May (both required if no previous fitness qualification).

The steps to complete before the fitness training are:

  • Firstly, if you haven't been along to a Park Active session before we ask that you attend at least one session before the training.
  • Complete and return the application form

In terms of the training there are two days of fitness training taking place on Saturday 10th and 17th May at Huntingtree park, Halesowen (both required unless you have any previous fitness qualifications). Also we provide a one day first aid course and an induction to the programme.

Commitment wise volunteers should be able to commit to deliver or support at least one session per month.
