Lighthouse Counselling (formerly Dudley Counselling Centre) as a local Charity (no. 1155864) are here to help you take control of your difficulties and move forward to a positive future. We have been looking at ways to respond to the unprecedented crisis of COVID 19 for our clients and community. We, therefore, want to respond in appropriate, safe and professional ways. We are conscious that there is, understandably, a lot of anxiety about the virus and what lies ahead.

Lighthouse Counselling has a long-standing reputation in the Black Country for providing support through counselling for over 10 years in accordance to BACP codes of ethics. A team of experienced counsellors and support workers who are committed to providing a safe, friendly, non-judgemental, professional service.

We offer means-tested and affordable counselling support, either in person - face to face, telephone or online support sessions lasting 50 minutes to offer a listening ear, to explore peoples feelings/emotions by trained counsellors.

We support clients who are experiencing anxiety or mental health issues and offer some solution-focused coping mechanisms to support mental or emotional well-being, signposting and offering prayer support when requested.

Our Services Offer:

  • Adult Counselling - Person-centred approach. Unable to see people with a diagnosis of Personality Disorder
  • Relationship and Couples/Marriage Counselling 
  • Play Therapy (for 3 to 10 years old)
  • Youth Counselling (11 to 18 years old)
  • Community Support for issues including homelessness and addiction. Primarily for those who attend Hub (formerly Heavens Kitchen, Dudley Community Church's Soup Kitchen)

Reaching and Restoring Emotionally, Socially and Spiritually Broken.

Our clients are referred to the service by their G.P., gateway worker, schools, local authorities, other statuary, voluntary agencies, schools,.and self-referral. Please click HERE to download Counselling Referral Forms.

Open Monday to Thursday 9.30am-5.00pm, Counselling sessions are 50 minutes., First session starts at 10.00am and the last session is at 4.00pm., Lighthouse Hub runs every Monday from 4.00pm-7.00pm, open for people in need.
