The Hope Project is a programme designed to positively impact the well being of people of all ages in our community. Based in Coseley in the Black Country, The Hope Project is presently five distinct programmes, each serving our community in a different way, but with a common goal of supporting those in need.
The current groups we offer are
Kintsugi Hope Wellbeing classes. A safe and supportive space for people who feel or have felt overwhelmed. We provide tools for self-management in a facilitated peer mentoring style. It consists of a structured yet flexible series of 12 weeks of content. Issues covered include disappointment and loss, anxiety, anger, perfectionism, shame, guilt and resilience. We want to see a world where mental and emotional health is understood and accepted.
Restored Beacon. We are a women's domestic abuse survivors support group who meet monthly in the black country.
Music Moves. Music Moves is a twelve week programme targeted at the emotional well being of young people between the ages of 11-17. The programme is designed to meet head on the problems of bullying; in all its forms; physical, emotional and through social media. Our aim is to improve the lives of youngsters by introducing them to a new way of coping with anxiety and feelings of vulnerability. Using a referral method through schools, health professionals, Police and other agencies, we will take them on a journey of positive personal growth and development, through the medium of music.
Bundle of Hope Baby Bank A Bundle of Hope baby bank is volunteer led and provides essential items for newborns and up to 2 years of age. We support families, single parents or care providers with items such as Moses baskets, baby baths, clothing, nappies and much more. We work on a referral basis only and any charity, organisation or health care professional can refer on to us. Families may contact us directly if they prefer where we can provide further information and assistance where possible.
