Glasshouse College was founded in September 2000 and is part of Ruskin Mill Trust, an educational charity that operates in England, Scotland and Wales, offering exciting outdoor learning environments, utilising practical land and craft activities to support the development of work and life skills in young people with autism and other learning difficulties.

Glasshouse College provides an innovative and experiential Practical Skills Therapeutic Education (PSTE) curriculum for young people with SEND and complex needs, using the insights of Rudolf Steiner, William Morris and John Ruskin.

Glasshouse provides an array of craft workshops, social enterprises, a performing arts centre, heritage centre, studios for local artisans, and a 40-acre farm and woodlands in the surrounding hillside. Crafts at Glasshouse draw from the local traditions of glass blowing and etching, as well as the performing arts, woodland management and land work.

Residential and day provision for ages 16-25.

Glasshouse college is a Safe Places Venue.
