If your child is due to start primary school in September 2025 then you will have to apply for a school place between 1 October 2024 and 15 January 2025.
You must complete an application form either online or by completing the application form provided by your local authority.

- It's quick and easy to use
You should not assume that your child will get a place at a new school without you having to apply, even if you have an older child already attending the same school.
