7 August. 2025 Summer Reading Challenge, Story Garden.
Join us at the library for a free children's session run by Brockswood Animal Sanctuary. There will be no live animals brought along, but there will be an interactive / sensory element with snake skins, wool etc. It's a series of talks by staff and volunteers from the sanctuary and a representative from Proteus Reptile Trust. One of the volunteers also wrote a children's book 'Stunt Pig Extraordinaire' and will be talking all about that.
2025 Summer Reading Challenge, Story Garden, held in partnership with The Reading Agency starts from the 5th July, in all Dudley Libraries.
Visit your local library to join up! Read 6 books throughout the Summer holidays and receive a certificate for taking part. You can also take part in any of the free craft activities within each library. Contact your local library for more information.
