Adult and Community Learning offer the following IT courses at venues throughout Dudley borough.
Digital Skills Taster - 1 Day session - This course is designed for individuals with little or no experience of using digital devices. Learners will also gain knowledge and understanding of staying safe online.
Search Engines and Online Research (Entry Level 3) (Accredited Qualification) 2 Day session - learners will learn how to identify what search engines are and their purpose, find suitable information using relevant searches and familiarise with the advanced features for searching to help narrow down results found.
Digital Blue Print - Novice, Starter and Ready to progress - These 3 progression courses are aimed at adults with little or no experience of using digital devices or the internet who wish to enhance their digital skills. Theses course are primarily for those who wish to enhance their digital skills for life or for employment purposes.
Topics covered include: - using devices and handling information, creating and editing files, communicating online, transacting online and staying safe online.
