Child Friendly Dudley

Child Friendly Dudley

Dudley MBC Services

Dudley Council is working with partners, stakeholders, community groups, schools and residents to build a new ‘Child Friendly Dudley’.

We are setting up the initiative to link people, groups and business together to create a brighter future for our children and young people.

Our ambition is that all children and young people from birth right up to the age of 25 (for those with additional needs) have the opportunity to reach their full potential in an environment where they feel safe and secure, have access to the right services and are able to learn, play and grow.

Building a framework for the future

To deliver Child Friendly Dudley we are creating a framework that will set our plan of action.

Our framework is being co-produced with children and young people with different lived experiences from across Dudley borough, thanks to the support of local schools and colleges.

The framework will also set out how businesses and local organisations can pledge their support to the initiative.

We’ll share more details about the framework in the coming weeks and months.
