Support and information for premature and sick babies.

Families of babies who are born premature or sick can get in touch with our support team directly by emailing: hello@bliss.org.uk This is a self referral service mainly accessed by parents who are either on or have had a neonatal experience and would like some further support. We aim to respond to these emails within 3 working days and act as a supportive outlet for parents providing signposting to services that may be help to them in their journey.

We also offer an online Bliss Champion Service. This is a service where families can access support over zoom with a fully trained volunteer Bliss champion. Bliss champions offer emotional support and practical information to parents who have a baby on a neonatal unit, or who have recently been discharged. Many parents have shared that they have found it helpful to talk through how they are feeling with someone and it can help them feel less isolated when they get home. They can arrange an appointment with a Bliss champion by sending an email to hello@bliss.org.uk and we will set this up for them. You can find out more information about the service on the remote support page of our website.
