Birmingham Canal Navigations Society exists to conserve, improve, and encourage a wide range of interests in the 100 mile network of the Birmingham and Black Country waterways known as the Birmingham Canal Navigations.
The Society holds monthly meetings (generally on the first Thursday of the month) with talks mainly related to waterways, local history, canal heritage. BCNS produces a quarterly magazine (Boundary Post) containing articles relevant to the Birmingham Canal Navigations.
BCN Society also organises work parties around the BCN (approximately monthly) and some annual boating events.
