Beacon Centre

Beacon Centre

Beacon Centre for the Blind is based in the West Midlands, supporting over 3,000 people affected by sight loss to live fuller, more independent lives. We also support people with other conditions, usually related to sight loss but not always.

We can help you to develop skills to build a level of independence tailored to your need and individual sight loss journey through a range of services including IT training, Low Vision advice, activity sessions, health and wellbeing, employment support and social care.

We can also help you to improve your digital skills, providing access to assistive technology devices as well as training and support to build confidence. Our Talking News Service can also help you stay up-to-date with the latest news, sport and entertainment from across the area.

Beacon is a Safe Places Venue and a Community Information Point.
