Barrow Hill Nature Reserve
Barrow Hill was confirmed a local nature reserve in July 2005 in order to preserve wildlife and geology of a special interest, and to also allow people to both study and come into contact with nature.
It is a significant and greatly admired area of green space within the Borough supporting the largest and most diverse area of grassland, ancient woodland and ponds.
