Awarding Care’s policies and procedures are developed, implemented, regularly monitored, and reviewed to ensure full compliance with the Health and Social Care Act 2008 (Regulated Activities) Regulations and the Care Quality Commission’s Fundamental Standards. We are committed to ensuring that everyone who uses our services can expect consistent standards of care that are delivered safely, effectively, and in line with their individual needs, choices, and informed consent, while promoting dignity, respect, and independence at all times.
Our team of carers and senior staff are committed to delivering a safe, effective, caring, responsive, and well-led care service. We provide dependable, trustworthy, and high-quality care that is person-centred and tailored to meet the individual needs, choices, and preferences of people who use our services, as well as the requirements of local authorities, other healthcare professionals and other commissioning organisations. All team members are either experienced in delivering care or are supported through robust recruitment, induction, training, supervision and ongoing professional development to ensure they are competent, confident, and capable of providing care to the highest standards.

Awarding Care have recently celebrated 10 years in the care sector, providing quality care of high standard to the local community. Being awarded various contracts by the local authorities, the company now employs over 100 care staff and has achieved an “Outstanding” grade for being Well-Led by the Care Quality Commission (CQC).

Our Aims
- To provide exceptional care in order to improve and sustain an overall quality of life.
- To ensure that customers receive care in a responsive and caring nature that is delivered with attention to detail and is flexible based on the needs of the customer.
- To ensure all care is provided in a non-discriminative way, respecting the customers beliefs, rights, privacy and dignity whilst assisting the customer to make their own informed choices.
- To qualify and equip all team members with the knowledge and tools to achieve and maintain a good outcome of care to the customer.
- To closely match the care worker and the customer to ensure compatibility.
- To ensure the customers values and needs are respected in relation to their culture, race, gender identity, sexuality or sexual orientation, impairments or disability and social identity.
- To monitor and manage the provisions and development of our services on a regular basis as part of our quality assurance framework.
- To train our management staff and team members to give them the required knowledge in adult protection and all the Company’s policies and procedures in order to maintain safety of our customers.
- To provide all our customers with information on how to make complaints or provide us with any comments or feedback.
