Our archery club provides tuition, talks and demonstrations of the traditional English longbow. For fun days, outdoor events, schools and colleges and courses in making your own longbow and arrows. Our aim is to pass on the skills and traditional recreational use of the longbow as the law allows in friendly surroundings and the comradeship of the bow. Competitions, courses and demonstrations are available to suit your pocket and availability. 

We supply a six week training course, after which you can join one of the many local archery clubs in the area. Shoot for the club; if you can shoot for the club, you can shoot for the County, If you can shoot for the County you can shoot for Team GB, If you can shoot for Team GB, you can shoot for The Olympic Games. The world is your oyster, From small beginnings large oak trees grow. Bow making courses are also available, timber and materials are provided as are ready made longbows and arrows for those wanting to start straight away on an archery adventure.

We also offer educational talks on the origins of the bow and arrow,  local history subjects, tuition for school events and charity events. Just email us or call for full details.
