St Martin's Church - Me and My Baby Massage Course
Monday 6, 13, 20, 27 November and 4 December 2023. This five week course of baby massage will enhance bonding and communication between you and your baby. In a calm, relaxed, informal environment you will gradually learn to do massage strokes covering your baby's whole body, as you watch a demonstration on a doll. There will also be plenty of time for discussion, sharing tips and experiences over a cup of tea, coffee or squash.
The classes are baby-led so you are encouraged to feed on demand, comfort your crying baby or do whatever your baby needs. Baby massage can help to relax your baby, potentially improving sleep, and can also bring pain relief from things like teething, constipation, wind and colic.
The classes are held in the large, bright church hall and there is a free private car park.
The 5 week course costs £30, which includes massage oil, refreshments, a booklet and other handouts.
The course is suitable for babies from birth to one year and their carers.
