Carers Information Support Programme (CRISP) Course for Carers

7, 14, 21, 28 May 2024. We will be running a course for carers, friends and family of people living with dementia, who require information about a recent diagnosis of dementia, coping with the implications of this and the support available to them.
1. Understanding Dementia: the physical, psychological and emotional implications that dementia may have on the person you care for.
2. Providing Support and Care: communication or concerns and challenges, help available from local services.
3. Legal and Money Matters: legal and financial issues, welfare benefits and entitlements.
4. Coping Day to Day: the physical, psychological, and emotional implications that dementia may have on those supporting the person with dementia, including their relationships, how to look after themselves, and identification of relevant support and services and next steps.

Car park located next to centre,
£2.00 for up to 3 hours (short stay car park)
£3.00 for up to 4 hours (short stay car pack)
£5.00 for over 3 hours (long stay car park)
There is free parking for the first 2 hours however the session will last longer than 2 hours.
The car park has a direct route into the centre which is suitable for those with disabilities or any mobility issues.
